Lux Radio Theatre

Lux Radio Theater was a superb dramatic anthology series broadcast from 1934 until 1955 on CBS and NBC. It was the most important drama series in the history of radio as it enjoyed a full hour time slot, high budgets, big Hollywood stars, and highest critical acclaim in the genre.

Lux Radio Theater produced hundreds of memorable adaptions of literary works and films in its 21-year long run on the air. Some of the timeless shows included It Happened One Night, King Solomon's Mines, and The African Queen.
